We have not appointed a data protection officer because our activity does not require one under Article 37 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Article 34 of Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on Data Protection (LOPDGDD). If you have any questions about your data, write to us at info@funerariasbarcelona.com.
If you give us details of other people, for example other relatives, please make sure they are aware of this information.

We need your contact details to be able to reply to you, and the service details to be able to provide the service. We do not make automated decisions or create profiles using your contact or service details. Google's personalised advertising, which only works if you accept it, is based on your browsing, as we explain in the cookie policy.
We do not sell your data or pass it on to anyone for commercial purposes. We only share it when this is necessary to provide the service or when the law requires it:
Google and Meta may process data in the United States. These transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (European Commission adequacy decision of 10 July 2023), under which both companies are certified, and by the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
You can exercise the following rights at any time and free of charge:
Write to us at info@funerariasbarcelona.com or by post to Funerarias Barcelona, Carrer d'Anníbal, 18, 08004 Barcelona, and tell us which right you want to exercise. If we have reasonable doubts about your identity, we will ask you to prove it. We will reply within one month.
If you feel we have not handled your request properly, you can make a complaint to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD), at C/ Jorge Juan, 6, 28001 Madrid.
The GDPR does not apply to the data of people who have died, but we treat it with the same confidentiality. Under Article 3 of the LOPDGDD, their relatives, people linked to them by a de facto relationship and their heirs can ask us for access to that data, or ask us to correct or delete it, unless the person who died had expressly forbidden this or a law prevents it. To do so, write to us and provide proof of your relationship with the person who has died.
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data: an encrypted connection (HTTPS), restricted access to information and a duty of confidentiality for our whole team. We know you are contacting us at a difficult time, and we treat your information with the utmost respect.
Our services are intended for adults. If you are under 14, please do not send us your data without the consent of your parent or guardian (Article 7 of the LOPDGDD).
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the law or in our services. The current version is always the one published on this page, with the date it was last updated.
